WHY SHOUL I HIRE YOU AS MY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
HEY BABES, BRIDES, LISTEN UP. YOU GET THE REAL ME!! If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, this is why you should hire me.
1) I am personable. Meaning I will show up to your engagement session asking you ton reenact your proposal with laughs and giggles or in your favorite superhero voice. I’ll come with your favorite music and either make you party dance or sway in a loving enchanting place with the love of your life in your arms. I am intuitive about who you are as a couple and guide my sessions to best match your personalities together.
2) I am real and authentic. If you’re down to dance and party, you better believe I’m down there with you and a camera in my hand. 😉 I’m your fly on the wall, capturing your reception with friends and family interacting where you can’t be. (I mean duh then it’s like when you see your gallery, you’re reliving the day IN A TOTALLY DIFFERENT WAY so it’s double double fun)
3) I always always put you first. You saw a pose on Pinterest you loved?! Your friends photographer did something you loved? Please don’t be hesitant to talk to me. To ask me. To come with photo wants and needs. I want to make your photo dreams come true and that’s my goal as a photographer.
4.) I am a professional. Meaning I got you. I know the formal family shots you need, bridal party shots that are fun and lively, I know ever good angle and how to work with all lighting, everything is covered when you hire me. I am your fly on a wall at a reception capturing the moments you don’t get to see cause the NIGHT IS BUSY. I capture the candid, the traditional and untraditional moments. I know how to be loud for group shots and quiet for tender moments.
5.) I’m your friend. My goal is not only to be your wedding photographer, but your friend. I will HYPE YOU UP, GIRL. I am there to remind you to sit down and breathe, take your heels off. I am there to grab you a glass of water. AND PARTY THE NIGHT AWAY. I am your hype girl from finish to end, I want you to send me that selfie with your marriage license, SCREAMING, cause it’s so soon!! I want you to send me your dress and we can talk about what a QUEEN you are! I am there for itttt, all of it!!! I love you babes and congrats!!
How will I be able to retrieve and access my photos?
A digital download will be sent via email to you. I will simply send you pin number via email that will enable you to download your session images right into your computer! Instant access, no waiting on the mail, loss, or faulty CD! Please remember to back up your images, either to an external hard drive, thumb drive, or some other source! As your photos will be deleted in a timely manner.
What is your turn around time for my online gallery/digital download?
Generally speaking, for weddings 4-6 weeks. Other sessions such as family, newborn, senior, etc will be 1-2 weeks. Busier times (i.e. holiday season, or just when I am crazy-busy!) may be a bit longer. Please take this into consideration as you schedule your appointment. Rush charges are optional.
What is your turnaround time?
For weddings my turnaround time is 4-6 weeks. You will receive a sneak peek gallery of your wedding 24 hours later! For anything else that is not weddings, 2 weeks is my turnaround time, but again, you will always receive 24 hour sneak peeks! I hate the waiting game too!
I want to print my photos… who do you suggest?
I recommend Millers Lab! You want to use a high quality professional printing studio so that they maintain color corrections in the photos. You spend good money on your photographer , you want to get the best prints to show off the photos in their true light. I recommend staying away from Walmart + Costco printing labs.. their printers do not capture the full color/quality of the images.
Do you touch up all the images in our image download?
Yes, I do. Every image I deliver is edited to a style constant with what you see in the images on my blog and gallery. This involves color correction, sharpening, exposure adjustment, linear curve adjustments, and other corrections. If you desire heavy edits to the face, please communicate that with me before or after your session. I prefer to keep my facial edits close to nothing, to keep you from looking unnatural, but will accommodate your needs.
Do I get to see every shot you take?
I will go through the images I’ve shot and choose the ones I feel best to represent my best work and photographic style. When I release your images over to you, those images become advertisements for my business to your family and friends, so naturally.. I will not include any images that don’t meet my standards as an artist.
Do you back up our images?
Yes! In my contract, it states that I will keep your photos for up to 6 months. Please make sure you download and save your own photos to your own platform. It is your responsibility to protect and save your images.
I remember you taking a specific image at our session; Why don’t I see it in the gallery?
You will only see the best images from our session. This means only the icing on the cake!
What time of day will our session be?
To ensure the best possible custom photography experience all outdoor portraits & family sessions are scheduled to take place approximately one hour after sunrise and an hour before sunset. (May vary, please email me.) With the exception of indoor newborn photo sessions and head shots any time of day is acceptable and can be fit to your needs.
We need to reschedule, what’s your policy?
I do have a rescheduling fee. If something comes up and you need to reschedule please let me know 24 hours before the session, As well as referring to your contract.
Do you shoot black and white?
I shoot everything in color and transfer images to black and white in post-production. This gives me enormous creative freedom, because any image you like in color can be transferred to black and white and vice versa.
